Let's face it, I will never be a great blogger. I feel like I never have anything fun to post, but I need to write a few things for memories.
To catch up from what happened during the summer, we ended up buying a home. We didn't know if we were suppose to stay in Utah or not, but because of how things kept going and how it all turned out we realized we are meant to be here, we will probably never know why, but that's how life goes. We have been in our home a little over 4 months now and we enjoy it!!! It has been the best thing for the kids. It's amazing the things you don't know about in your home until after you have lived in it too, but it's still totally worth it, at least I hope so :)
The kids are growing up so fast too. Our oldest Austin is 14 now and I NEVER thought I'd understand why animal mothers eat their young, now I do!!!!!!!! These teenage yrs are driving me bonkers, he's a way good kid but, we'll just leave it at the BONKERS!!!! He's in 9th grade this yr and is able to take seminary which he absolutely loves!!!!! Cameron is 12, and is in 6th grade. He has all the stinkin girls hot on his trail and he loves it. He even had a girl give him a dollar because she didn't want it. We had 6 or 7 girls show up at our house a couple months ago asking for both Austin and Cameron, and there have been a couple other times they've shown up just for Cameron, they brought him a soda pop after school about a week ago, so not to long before he'll be driving me bonkers too, typical teenagers is all I can say, but I still love em' most days ;) Our Ashlyn is going to be turning 8 next month and she is ALL girl, she's so much fun and I just love to get girly things for her, she's my only girl gotta spoil her a little bit. Then we have our little Cole who isn't so little anymore. He'll be starting kindergarten next school yr, and boy is he a smart little whipper snapper, he's a true little boy that's for sure!! We've been blessed with wonderful children. They all have the desire to stay strong in the gospel and I'm grateful they have that desire, especially in times like these that we live in now. We can't believe how quickly life goes by, and what life also has in store for us. I feel like our family is a grab bag and we never know what we're going to grab next. I know we've been blessed so much otherwise we wouldn't be where we are today.

camp
So, I am preparing for the never ending task (it's what it seems like) of getting ready for girls camp. As a young woman I never realized how much my leaders did. I'm sure most of us didn't realize what our leaders did for us. This will be my 3rd yr going to girls camp as a leader, but only the 2nd one I've gone to. Last yr I was out of town during girls camp. I do have to mention though that when I got back home from vacation, I went to youth conference which was a three day camp. So I could still consider this my 3rd time going. I hope that things will come together smoothly. It's getting the YW to cooperate and come to all the planning activities that is difficult. I have a great group of GALS to work with and it should be fun to get to camp and just let loose. It's amazing how much more you get to know those you work with when you spend 3 nights and 3 1/2 days with them.
Lets get the party started, (I have to be positive here)!!
(Shanilee, if you see this, I saw your comment, I was going to respond back on your blog, but you have it private)

Obsolete, it seems
Okay because it has been like 7 months since updating anything on here, I have forgotten how to do a lot of things. The blogger site has changed things a bit as well. Anyway, my blog needs a much needed face lift and I don't have a clue as how to do much about it. I added a banner as my header, but I couldn't get any pictures to go with it. It only gives me one download to do and that was the banner. I ended up deleting the banner because I was frustrated and wasn't getting anywhere with it. If anyone even looks at my blog anymore and you know how to get pictures and a banner together will you please let me know? The other thing I was wondering is how to get the frequency of how long ago friends/family post on their blogs, under your friends/family side bars section? I see that on so many blogs and have yet to figure out how to add that to my friends/family side bar. (it would be nice to know if its been 2 weeks, 1 month etc since friends/family have last posted on their own blogs).I hope that makes sense.
I'm really bad when it comes to downloading pictures onto the computer too. We have taken so many pictures as most people do with all the fun of technology and digital cameras, and I never get them printed before I download, so I have decided not to download any more pictures (until I get prints) because than they end up on our computer and of off the memory card. Ya, it hasn't happened, one of these years it will happen, yes I said YEARS. I'm giving myself extra time. More to come in another 7 months J/K, you're all probably thinking I'm not kidding with me and my lack of blogging regularly!
One last thing for the night. What happened to the area that would let you go and change the color of the lines around the header, comment color, sidebar color etc? I'm not finding that.
